Dircia Sarmento Belo
is an environmental leader and specialised in addressing communities’ vulnerabilities to climate change.
Dircia has been recognized as on eo fhte “50 Leading Lights Asia Pacific” in 2023 and frequently represents young people at global events, including COP28 and the SDG Summit. In Timor-Leste, she collaborates with governmental and non-governmental stakeholders to enhance communities’ climate resilience and is the founder of “Laudato Si Animators Timor-Leste” and co-founder of the “Timorese Youth Initiative for Development”.
Dircia is based in Dili, Timor-Leste and supports our work on the gender, conflict, climate nexus.

Milena has collaborated with us. i.a. on strenghtening women’s land rights, tenure security and climate resilience through relevant research, analysis and training mediators on inclusive land dispute mediation.

Natalino works with a number of LGBTIQA+ organisations in Timor-Leste and is one of the initiators of Pride in Timor-Leste.
Natalino is based in Dili, Timor-Leste.
Natalino has worked with us on promoting gender and social inclusion, especially in the realms of engaging men and mediators for inclusive mediation-processes. -
